If you want to play your favorite Game Boy games in an emulator you’re mostly forced to use ROM websites. More and more of these websites are hit with takedown requests by Nintendo which makes things complicated. With the GB01 you can make ROM dump from your own physical Game Boy collection.
The GB01 from Submodule lets you dump the ROMs of Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games. It also supports dumping save games from games, but it can also write them back. This is ideal for when you have to replace the savegame battery!
Finally the GB01 also support the Game Boy camera, which is great.
