I was at Marvin Droogsma, a retro-dealer (that sounds unintentionally shady), with Clemens. We were casually browsing through Marvin’s massive collection of games, when we stumbled upon a few boxes of Japanese Sega Saturn games. What immediately jumped out was the very Japanese cover art.
After some more digging we came to the conclusion that the cover art of Japanese Sega Saturn games bare very little resemblance to the actual game itself. And so naturally we made a game out of this.
We both picked a few of the weirdest games from these boxes and asked each other the question “Looking at the cover art, can you guess which type of game this is?”.
